- The HP Laptop cashback promotion is valid on new purchases made during the promotional period - 1st May 2012 to 31st July 2012.
- The promotion is open to residents of the mainland UK including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. This offer is not open to employees of Hewlett Packard (HP), their agents, wholesalers, resellers, retail staff, retailers, participating stockists or anyone connected with the promotion.
- Claims must be submitted by the end user customer only. Resellers may not submit claims on behalf of their customers.
- Subject to these terms and conditions customers can claim their cash back amount after purchasing a qualifying HP Product.
- HP reserve the right to change qualifying products during the promotional period – please check against your invoice date online or view all offers online to check which offers are available to you.
- There is a maximum of 15 units per customer during the promotional period. Customers who have received special pricing from HP (via an OPG) are not eligible for this promotion.
- To take advantage of the promotion visit www.hpcashback.com and fill out the online claim form. The participant must provide an invoice number & serial number as proof of purchase.
- A full and valid claim must be submitted no sooner than 30 days and no later than 60 days from the date of invoice. If claims are submitted before or after this claim window they will be deemed invalid.
- The promotion is valid in respect of qualifying products purchased either directly from Hewlett Packard Ltd (HP) or an authorised reseller or authorised retailer of HP within the promotion dates. Purchases direct from HP distribution partners are ineligible. The promotion is only valid for end user customers; claims for products purchased which will be resold or rented to a third party are ineligible for this promotion.
- Once the claim has been received, the participant will receive confirmation of receipt of the claim form by email from help@hpcashback.com stating whether or not the claim for cash back has been successful. It is the claimant's responsibility to contact the agent using the email address above within seven days of their claim being sent if an email acknowledgement has not been received.
- Bank transfers will be paid directly into the bank account of the company named on the proof of purchase invoice supplied only. Bank transfers cannot be made out to individuals except where the product has been purchased for personal use and the claimant's name and personal address appears as the recipient on the proof of purchase invoice.
- Provided that the terms and conditions of this promotion have been met, a refund for the relevant amount will be paid to you by bank transfer. Typically payments are made within 56 days.
- The rebate is inclusive of all taxes. Where this rebate payment constitutes a taxable benefit, all tax liability lies with the recipient.
- All instructions form part of these terms and conditions. The cash back will only be paid upon satisfaction by the participant of these terms and conditions. By completing the claim process participants confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions. Return of a qualifying HP product to the seller following submission of the claim for the cash back will disentitle the participant to the cash back.
- In the event of a product failing or being replaced during the cash back claim period and if the cash back claim has not been paid out, the original claim will be voided and you will need to re-submit your claim accordingly against your replacement order. If the either product is returned after the cash back claim has been accepted and paid, it is at Hewlett Packard's discretion to deduct the cash back amount from any future refunds relating to this order.
- This offer may not be combined with HP special bid pricing.
- Cash backs are paid out based on the price paid excluding VAT.

- The cash back cannot be granted to the participant who:
- a) has not purchased the qualifying HP products within the promotional period; and/or
- b) has not completed the claim form; and/or
- c) has not supplied proof of purchase; and/or
- d) has not submitted their claim online or to the address set out in the claim form between 30 and 60 days from the date of purchase; and/or
- e) failed in any way to comply with these terms and conditions.
- HP reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible claims. No responsibility will be accepted for submissions which have been lost, or are late, damaged, misdirected, delayed in the post or insufficiently pre-stamped. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
- HP is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the participant from or otherwise obstructs him/her in participating in the promotion. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
- HP reserves the right to audit all requests to ensure that the terms and conditions of the promotion have been met and to request additional information regarding any and all claims and supporting documents.
- All documentation submitted for this promotion becomes property of HP and will not be returned. Submission of false, incorrect, misleading or fraudulent documentation may result in disqualification from this promotion and future HP promotions and may result in the submitter being subject to prosecution.
- The decisions of HP in respect of any and all aspects of the promotion will be final and binding.
- HP reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer without notice.
- Participants providing an incomplete claim form will be notified via email and offered the opportunity to provide the required items within seven days. If the participant still fails to comply with the terms and conditions, the claim for cash back will be refused.
